Summit Farms Rescue

Rescuing Alaskan Breeds, giving dogs a second chance since 2004

Brad and Janet Harker, founders of Summit Farms Rescue

Meet Brad & Janet

Brad and Janet Harker started Summit Farms Rescue in 2004, driven by one belief: all life is valuable and worthy of protection. What began as a small local effort has grown into something much bigger, but the heart of it has never changed.

Summit Farms is recognized for rescuing Alaskan dog breeds such as Malamutes and Huskies. Our mission is to adopt and save as many dogs as we can.

We believe in helping the helpless and reducing the number of homeless dogs while improving the welfare of all domestic animals. We also seek to educate our community on the plight of these animals.

Everything we do is built around Respect, Understanding, and Compassion for all creatures.

Our Mission

We are so grateful for the continued support of our donors. We truly couldn't do this without you. We're overjoyed to see so many Huskies and Malamutes settling into their forever homes with caring families. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

“Every dog we've rescued has changed someone's life. That's the whole point.”
