Rescuing Alaskan Breeds, giving dogs a second chance since 2004

Dog Adoption

Every dog we take in has their own story. Some came from tough situations, some were simply lost. All of them are ready for a family who'll love them.

Current Availability

Right now we don't have any dogs available, but that changes often. New dogs come through our doors regularly. The profiles below show the kinds of dogs we typically work with. Check back soon, or reach out to us directly and we'll add you to our list.

Sample Adoptable Dogs

Here's a look at the types of dogs we've helped find homes. When new dogs are available, their profiles will show up right here.

Luna — Siberian Husky available for adoption

Luna

Siberian Husky Female 3 Years

Luna has energy for days and loves every minute of it. She's great with other dogs and older kids, picks up on commands quickly, and is happiest when she's got room to run. House-trained and ready to go. She just needs a yard she can actually use.

Bear — Alaskan Malamute available for adoption

Bear

Alaskan Malamute Male 5 Years

Bear looks imposing, but anyone who's spent five minutes with him knows better. He's calm, loyal, and genuinely loves people. Great on the trail and just as happy hanging out at home. He's food-motivated, which makes training easier, though he does best with someone who's had a big dog before.

Storm — Alaskan Husky available for adoption

Storm

Alaskan Husky Female 2 Years

Storm is two years old and still has a lot of puppy in her. She's fast, playful, and those blue eyes get everyone who meets her. She's working on her manners and would do best with someone who knows Northern breeds and isn't afraid of a little patience.

Kodiak — Alaskan Malamute available for adoption

Kodiak

Alaskan Malamute Male 4 Years

Kodiak came to us when his family couldn't keep him anymore. No fault of his own. He's a big, calm, good-natured Malamute with a coat that turns heads on the trail. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and honestly just ready for somewhere to call home.

How to Adopt

We take the matching process seriously, for the dogs and for you.

1

Submit an Application

Tell us a bit about yourself: your home, your routine, and what you're hoping for in a dog. It only takes a few minutes and there's no fee.

2

Meet & Greet

If things look like a good fit, we'll set up a time for you to come meet the dog. If you have other pets at home, we'll bring them in for a supervised intro too.

3

Home Check

One of our volunteers will stop by to take a quick look at your setup. We want to make sure it's safe for a Northern breed. Securely fenced yard required. These dogs are runners.

4

Adoption Day!

When everything's approved, you sign the adoption agreement and pay the fee. Your dog goes home with their health records, some food to get started, and everything you need for day one.

Fees run $150 to $350 depending on the dog's age and care history. Every dog leaves us spayed or neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
